Carey Thuente graduated Cum Laude from California Western School of Law in May, 2005. She was admitted to the Minnesota State Bar in October, 2005. She joined the Guyton Law office in January of 2005 as an intern and worked as an associate attorney from October, 2005 to October, 2006. She then worked for Thomson West training attorneys on how to optimize their utilization of WestLaw. Ms. Thuente returned to the Guyton Law Office in May of 2007, where she continues to make invaluable contributions to the GLO team.

Ms. Thuente earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from San Diego State University. While based in California, she worked with at-risk high school students and troubled youth in a residential setting as a mentor with the San Diego State University Mentorship Program. Ms. Thuente has also volunteered at Minnesota Advocates for Human Rights.

Currently, Ms. Thuente commutes between her base in Omaha, Nebraska and our St. Paul offices. She is equipped to serve GLO clients from either location.
