The heart of Jeff's practice is helping families cope with disability and long-term care. He works diligently to help his clients maintain financial autonomy and peace of mind, developing innovative estate plans, challenging bureaucratic errors and establishing Supplemental and Special Needs Trusts to preserve assets for disabled individuals.
His work in these areas requires a practical and technical knowledge of the benefits available through Medical Assistance, Medicare, the Veterans Administration, and Social Security. It also involves the more traditional areas of wills and trusts, guardianships, probate and real estate.
Jeff regularly teaches seminars for attorneys and other professionals. He was an adjunct professor of Elder Law at William Mitchell College of Law.
